- An introduction to gerontology as a field of study and professional service.
- 4143 PRACTICES AND PROGRAMS IN AGING
- A review of current social service programs in aging, and an examination of practices involved in the provision of services to the elderly.
- 4243 THE PSYCHOLOGY OF AGING
- An examination of the physiological changes that accompany aging with emphasis on specific psychological factors that affect longevity.
- 4843 FIELD EXPERIENCE IN SOCIAL GERONTOLOGY
- Professionally supervised experience in a facility for older people. (Prerequisite: consent of instructor)
