Botany Option

- BOT 4214 Systematic Botany
- BOT 4274 Forest Systematics
- ZOOL 2114 General Zoology
Electives in the Biological Sciences (BIOL, BOT, CONS, and/or ZOOL) to complete the 40 semester hours.
Zoology Option
Core curriculum(13 semester hours)
Additional required courses(15 semester hours)
Two of the following:
- ZOOL 4134 Aquatic Invertebrate Taxonomy
- ZOOL 4234 Entomology
- ZOOL 4334 Ichthyology
- ZOOL 4524 Herpetology
- ZOOL 4534 Ornithology
- ZOOL 4634 Mammalogy
Electives in the Biological Sciences (BIOL, BOT, CONS, and/or ZOOL) to complete the 40 semester hours.
Required Program Support Courses:
- CHEM 1415 General Chemistry II
One of the following:
- STAT 2153 Statistical Methods
Three to five hours of mathematics above MATH 1543 with approval of advisor.
