Twenty-one elective hours approved by the department. CHEM 4314 may not be used as an elective in the major

Specified General Education Requirement:

• CHEM 1315 General Chemistry I
• MATH 2143 Brief Calculus or MATH 2215 Calculus I

All Chemistry majors will be required to take six hours of mathematics (approved by the department) within their first twenty hours of chemistry.

Note: The major program is just one component of a baccalaureate degree.
