Child Care Resource & Referral — Disclaimer Policy

Southeastern Child Care Resource & Referral Agency shall provide child care referrals, not recommendations, to the public. SOSU CCR&R does not recommend one child care facility over another. We do not evaluate any child care program or provider, nor do we guarantee the quality of any programs to which referrals have been made. Choosing child care is the primary responsibility of the parent or guardian. Oral and written disclaimers of this policy shall be provided to the public.

PROCEDURE

During the referral call, Agency staff notifies the client that the Agency does not endorse any particular program, but rather that our role is to give them as much information as possible to help them make the best possible child care choice for their child and family. This disclaimer is included in the parent letter, is printed on the referral sheet and is included on the website.
