To facilitate the transition of Southeastern students and alumni into successful careers by advancing career development and providing access to internships and employment opportunities.

The CMC staff offers programs and services designed to support SOSU students and alumni.

Among these are:

  • Access to SE Symplicity / NACelink – A 24/7 online career recruiting network for job postings and employee recruiting
  • Individual/Group Career Advising to help students determine their career values, interests, skills, and career management issues, to relate those factors to the work world or graduate or professional school preparation, and to provide support;
  • Web-Based Resources to help students research occupational fields and professional/graduate education options, identify employment prospects, and prepare for the job search;
  • Workshops to assist in the acquisition of job search skills and other career development tools;
  • Internships and Learning Opportunities to explore career interests;
  • Career Fairs, Campus Interviews, and Other Special Events to assist in identifying employment opportunities and to facilitate networking activities;
  • Lecture Series to provide current, practical information from employers and community leaders
