Sodexo Food Service
Sodexo is in search of dependable students looking to aid in food service and catering.
To apply, fill out an application and bring it to the Career Management Center located in Room 213 of the Administration Building.

Boys and Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club is looking for work study students to help monitor children activities and tutor for the Summer Vista Program June-July 40, 2019.
  • Duties include: Overseeing children’s games after school and helping with homework.
  • If the student works both months then they are eligible for bonuses.

SE Research & Sponsored Programs
The SE Research & Sponsored Programs Office is searching for a work study student to work 15 to 20 hours a week.  Business major students are preferred.
  • Duties include: Filing, copying, scanning, delivering paperwork to campus departments, proofing documents for accuracy, archiving grant documents, que monthly general ledgers and monthly detail reports, and other duties as assigned.

SE Telecommunications Department

The SE Telecommunications Department is searching to fill a regular work  Data/Telephone Technician position.

  • Telecommunications technicians install, operate, maintain and repair telecommunications equipment.
  • This is for 20 hrs. per week.  This position requires flexible hours and available to work during the summer semester.

SE Grounds Department

The SE Grounds Department is searching to fill one regular work student position beginning May 12.

  • Duties will include:  Weed eating, push mowing, raking, pulling weeds, mulching, basically any grounds keeping related tasks.

SE Housing and Residence Life 

Stay on Campus and work for Housing and Residence Life.

  • Students must be able to lift 50 pounds and ambulate through an eight story building without an elevator, if necessary.  Additional duties involve moving furniture in and out of rooms and stripping and waxing the floors.
  • Students will get up to 29 hours a week with some flexibility for vacations and days off.  Work hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with lunch at noon.

SE Student Wellness Services

The SE Student Wellness Services Office is searching to fill two student positions.

Student Wellness Services Website and Social Media Manager – Regular Work

  • Applicants must have extensive computer knowledge related to social media; willingness to learn about website content and maintenance; conduct data research and develop useful site content; creativity; good organizational skills; self-starter, highly motivated; be able to work without direct supervision at times and willingness to cross-train for other office duties as needed.

Work Study

  • Duties includes:  Sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, moving furniture, and other general cleaning tasks.

SE Human Resources

Human Resources is seeking a motivated and dependable Work Study student worker for the Summer semester (continuation of Fall employment will be contingent on Departmental budget).  Work is highly confidential in nature.

  • Duties include but are not limited to: general office/clerical duties (answer phones, filing, make copies, data entry, and assist incoming employees), running errands on campus, and other duties as assigned.
  • Work will be approximately 20 hours per week (hours will be dependent on Student Work Award as well as Department Budget).  Preferred working hours are 12 – 5 pm, Monday through Thursday; other hours may be available.
  • A good work ethic and good attendance is required.

Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library

SE’s  Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library is seeking students to fill two positions for the Summer 2019 semester (with the potential of employment for Fall semester).

Work Study 

  • Job duties include: answering phone at circulation desk, helping students, faculty, and staff at the circulation desk, shelving books, dusting shelves etc.
  • Hours needing to fill are afternoon and evenings, Monday – Thursday 12 pm – 8 pm, Sundays 3 pm – 8 pm.  It will be 25 hours per week.

Regular Work

  • Job duties include: answering phone at circulation desk, helping students, faculty, and staff at the circulation desk, shelving books, dusting shelves etc.
  • Hours needing to fill are afternoon and evenings, Monday – Thursday 12 pm – 8 pm, Sundays 3 pm – 8 pm.  It will be 20 hours per week.

The SE Office of Student Life has a position open for the Summer semester.

  • Duties include: Answering phones, filing paperwork, manning the front desk, moving furniture, cleaning, and helping set up events.
  • Hours needed are 10 am – 2 pm.
