2018 Presidential Golf Classic

The Active Real Estate Team headed by Shawn Stovall carded the lowest score of the day and finished first to take the championship of the Southeastern Oklahoma State University 2018 President’s Golf Classic. 2017 Presidential Golf Classic

Team Wigington carded a 52 and finished first among four teams scoring 52 to claim the championship of the 2017 Southeastern Oklahoma State University President’s Golf Classic on a warm Friday morning/afternoon at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course.  From left, Southeastern President Sean Burrage, Corey Griffith, Shaun Hughston, Blake Wigington, Trey Wright, Cameron Ballew, and Scott Brinkley.

2016 Presidential Golf Classic

2016-winnersT.J. CONSTRUCTION of Broken Bow, Oklahoma carded a 53 and won a three-way tie to claim the 2016 championship of Southeastern’s 16th annual Presidential Golf Classic. On a warm Friday at Chickasaw Point Golf Course, the winning players for team T.J. Construction were, from left: Shane Minor, Jimmy Langford, Dameon Scott, Tommy Julian, Southeastern president Sean Burrage, Alec Wilson and Jack Howes. Winstar World Casino took second place in a card playoff over First Texoma National Bank, who finished third. Tori Cellum was the winner in the women’s long drive and closest-to-the-pin contests with Matt “Chevy” Legere the long drive winner and Speaker-elect Charles McCall closest-to-the-pin for the men.

2015 Presidential Golf Classic

Construction of Broken Bow, OK fired a 50 to take first place in Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s 2015 Presidential Golf Classic held at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club on June 12. Sarah Bonner won closest to the pin and Megan Marshall was the long drive winner for the women. Quaid Ogletree (closest to the pin) and Dameon Scott (long drive) were winners in the men’s division.

 2013 Presidential Golf Classic

Roma Italian Restaurant carded a hot 50 to win Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s 16th annual Presidential Golf Classic on a warm Friday at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club. Attorney at Law Brett Morton’s team finished second, with Salita’s Mexican Restaurant taking third place. Morton’s team also shot a 50, and Salita’s scored 51. The results were determined by a card playoff. Longest Drive went to Pam Young and Justin Brown. Kelsey Hanebaum and Mac Hamilton were Closest to the Hole. President Minks presented the award to the first-place team.

2012 Presidential Golf Classic

2012-06-11 Vision Bank carded a 51 on a picture-perfect Friday at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club to win Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s 15th annual Presidential Golf Classic. From left: Southeastern president Larry Minks, Jeff Monroe, Shaun Hughston, Brad Aycock, Stacy Ballew, Jeffery Hammock and Cameron Ballew. Vision Bank posted a 1-shot victory over Landmark Bank and Chris Sturch’s team. Landmark Bank took second place on a card playoff.

2011 Presidential Golf Classic


Durant’s Larry Dyson Motors fired a cool 51 on a hot Friday afternoon to win to win the 2011 Southeastern Oklahoma State University Presidential Golf Classic at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course. Dyson Motors collected its 5th-consecutive Classic championship with an outstanding day of golf. From left: Southeastern President Larry Minks, Dustin Gunkle, Mark Fairchild, David Dyson, Brad O’Hara, Brock Kauk and Sy Freeman. All team members are from Elk City, Okla. Gunkle (longest drive) and Fairchild (closest-to-the-pin) were double winners on the afternoon.

Team Dyson Does It Again

2010-first-sm The Dyson dynasty rolled onward on June 11, 2010 as Larry Dyson Motors claimed its fourth consecutive championship in Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s 2010 Presidential Golf Classic held at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Resort. With a nice breeze taking the sting out of a warm day, the winners carded a nifty 51 to edge Excel therapy’s 53 and Hughston Group’s 54.
