Degree Programs


This program provides a curriculum that prepares students to enter a career in leisure services. The recreation program emphasizes leadership, programming, planning, and management in the profession .

Health and Physical Education

This program prepares students to teach physical education and health and to coach athletic teams in grades PK-12. The HPE program emphasizes teaching and coaching strategies, concepts, and skills.

Health and Human Performance

This program prepares students for careers in personal training, rehabilitation services, and entry into graduate programs for allied health programs. The HHP program emphasizes human movement science and performance enhancement.

Some of our student–majors have the opportunity to gain valuable experience while serving as student assistants in various areas of the program.
