Southeastern boasts an excellent education at an affordable price, which can be made even more affordable by means of financial assistance.

Scholarships are available for both music majors and non-majors. Over 90% of the students who participate in the music program receive financial aid from the Department of Music. These awards consist of tuition waivers, out-of-state tuition waivers, and dorm rooms. Amounts vary and are awarded based upon high school musical accomplishments, musical proficiency, potential, and choice of major. In most cases, music majors will receive more assistance than non-majors, however substantial help can be earned regardless of major area. Almost all of our awards are renewable provided grades are maintained and responsibilities fulfilled.

Out-of-state tuition waivers are available for scholarship recipients.

After completing a scholarship audition, students will be notified of acceptance and the awarding of scholarship monies within two weeks.
