The John Massey School of Business at Southeastern Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant/associate professor position in Management. Individuals with academic training in small business management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, supervisory management, organizational behavior, or strategy who are interested in teaching management courses are encouraged to apply. Necessary qualifications include, but not limited, to being academically qualified (AQ) and/or professionally qualified (PQ) as described by AACSB International and based on the John Massey School of Business's definition regarding AQ and PQ.
The faculty member's primary responsibilities will be to provide excellent instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Ardmore Higher Education facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma, a program of scholarship, and participate in service activities. Instructional duties may include on-line instruction and/or instruction at the main campus in Durant, Oklahoma; however, the majority of instruction will be at the Ardmore Higher Education facility. Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts from each degree-granting institution must be received by the Office of Academic Affairs.
This position is stationed at the Ardmore Higher Education facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Ardmore is located some 50 miles west of the main campus in Durant, Oklahoma.
Founded in 1909, Southeastern Oklahoma State University enrolls approximately 4,500 students in 44 undergraduate and 7 graduate degree programs. The central campus is located in Durant, Oklahoma, 80 miles north of Dallas, Texas, and 150 miles southeast of Oklahoma City. The John Massey School of Business is AACSB International accredited and offers undergraduate degrees in Management, Management with a Native American option, Marketing, Accounting, Finance and General Business. The John Massey School of Business also offers a Master of Business Administration degree which is offered through a blend of on-and-off campus courses.
Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Employment is contingent upon the results of a national criminal and sex offender background checks.
