Steps to Admission
Thank you for your interest in attending
Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
We know you are concerned about receiving
an I-20. We will issue an I-20
upon admission and receipt of all necessary
official supporting credentials required
by Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration
Services, the Oklahoma State Regents
for Higher Education, and Southeastern
Oklahoma State University. Our
application deadlines are: Fall
Semester-June 1; Spring Semester-November
1; and Summer Semester-April 1.
No I-20's will be issued after the deadline
dates. Please read our
international
information profile and the
instructions for international students before
completing the admissions packet.
Please download, complete, sign and
return the following documents:
- Application
for Admission (signed and
dated).
-
Statement
of Understanding (signed and
dated).
- Affidavit of Support (Graduate)
(Undergraduate)
(Dependent)
- letter of financial backing signed
by your sponsor, verified by bank/financial
institution official, presented in
English and US dollars, and less than
six (6) months old.
- TOEFL Scores - sent directly
to Southeastern from the testing center,
less than two (2) years old.
We cannot use photo copies for admission.
Scores required: undergraduate - 500;
graduate - 550.
- Official Transcripts - undergraduate
students need official English-translated
transcripts of secondary (high school)
and/or previous college work.
Graduate students need official English-transcripts
of any previous college work.
Photocopies of original transcripts
are not acceptable. Transcripts
must bear the official school seal.
Any college/university attended (in
or outside the United States) must
be indicated on the application form.
- Transcript Evaluations -
transcripts of work earned from colleges/universities
outside the United States must be
evaluated before the application for
admission will be considered.
Southeaster recognizes transcript
evaluations from several evaluation
service organizations. You may
contact these evaluators at your convenience
for necessary forms or information
regarding fees and time lines of evaluations.

- Advisor's
Report - (if applicable) from
the last college/university in the
United States attended; must be mailed
directly from the US college/university
to Southeastern.
Transfer In Form
Transfer Out Form
- Two (2) passport photographs
- with applicant's signature on the
back.
- $55.00 (US Dollars) Non-refundable
Application Fee - applies to one
(1) semester of acceptance only
