    • Current Official Photo Identification

    • Photo  ID must be current (not expired).  It must be issued by a school, employer, or city/state/federal governmental agency (e.g, driver's license, current passport) on which both the student's name and current photograph appear.   The photograph must have been taken recently enough that you can identify the person presenting it.  (NOT acceptable photos are the following:  a photocopy of a photo ID;  photos issued by a business for promotional purposes (e.g., amusement parks); photo ID of parents who accompany a son or daughter to the test center; family portrait or graduation picture, even if the name is imprinted on the photo; a passport so old that the person presenting it cannot be identified; a credit or charge card, even with a photo.)

    • Identification Letter

    • Identification letters must be on original school letterhead.   A letter is acceptable only if it includes the student's name and full physical description including age, gender, height, weight, race, hair and eye color, or a recent, recognizable photograph with school seal or a school official's signature across a portion of the photo, and it  includes the student's signature, signed in ink in the presence of the school counselor or other school official (who must not be a relative).   That official must also have signed the letter in ink.  The student is required to sign the letter again in the presence of the testing staff.

    • Form letters must be printed on original school letterhead.  They must be individually completed and signed in ink.

    • If the letterhead is computer generated or photocopied, it must also be embossed with a raised or inked school seal.

(Printed, stamped, or photocopied signatures are not acceptable.)

    • Transcript or Notarized Statement with Photo
    • A high school transcript is acceptable only if it includes a recent recognizable photo with a school seal or school official's signature across a portion of the photo, and it includes the student's signature, signed in ink in the presence of the school counselor or other school official (who may not be a relative).  That school official must also have signed the transcript in ink .  (Printed, stamped, or photocopied signatures are not acceptable.)

    • A current photo attached to a sworn statement identifying the student by name, signed by the student in ink in the presence of a notary public, is acceptable only if the notary public has notarized the statement with a portion of the notary seal or stamp affixed to  the photograph.  The notary must not be a relative. The student is required to sign the statement again in the presence of the test administrator.

    • Recent Published Individual Photo

    • A recognizable individual photograph in a recent   publication (within last two years), such as a newspaper or school yearbook, with the student's first and last names in the caption.  The publication must be original, not a photocopy or reproduction.   (A photo with the student's name embossed on the print by the photographer is not acceptable.)

  • Retest Restriction - If a student tested previously via residual or any other non-national testing, the retest should be taken on a national test day. If this is not possible, a minimum of 60 days must elapse before another residual test may be taken. This restriction is necessary to ensure that recent familiarity with questions on the test form is not reflected in inappropriately higher scores. It is the responsibility of the testing institution to incorporate this restriction into its residual testing procedures. If the 60-day time limit is violated, the retest scores will be canceled automatically. No refund will be made for such canceled retests.

  • Score Reports Score reports will be available on the following Monday after 1:00 p.m. in the Administration Building, Room 101.  Scores are valid only at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and cannot be transferred to any other institution or agency.  No reports will be issued by SOSU (or ACT) to high schools, colleges, or scholarship agencies.
