The Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library provides materials and services to meet the information needs of both graduate and undergraduate students as well as distance learners. The collection has over 183,000 volumes, 485,000 microforms, and 878 current periodical titles. It also has a selection of newspapers, sound recordings, videos, and software. Additionally, as a selective U. S. Government depository, the library has holdings of approximately 87,816 government documents and 6,077 Oklahoma documents.
Databases containing abstracts and full-text articles from magazines and journals on the Internet are recent acquisitions which aid patrons in accessing information quickly. The Library has access through its periodical databases to over 24,500 online periodicals, and over 9,400 electronic books are accessible through the catalog from NetLibrary. Through the online database LoisLaw, the Library has access to thousands of federal and state court cases, statutes and administrative regulations. Through Mergent Online, the Library has access to company information for for 10,000 public companies. Through CCH Tax Research Network Online, students have access to the tax code, rules and regulations, and court cases. And articles on musical terms can be found in the Grove Music Online database.
