Electronic Books
There are many changes beginning to come about in the way we access information. One of the standard ways to access information for many centuries has been the printed word on sheets on paper. Now that is changing to electronic format. Books are being published online. Whether or not electronic books will replace printed books remains to be seen. There are companies  that are putting collections of electronic books online. One of those companies is NetLibrary. The Southeastern Library as access to around eleven thousand electronic books.

The electronic books collection is included in iLink, our electronic catalog.  Additionally one can access the electronic books collection on the Internet.  Go to the Electronic Sources page on the library page at http://www.se.edu/lib/electres.htm Click on  the Electronic Books link, and then click on the Netlibrary icon. When you get to the NetLibrary homepage, you can type in the title of the book you want to find, or search by subject. To access NetLibrary from home, you need to create an account. Establishing an account is much like creating an email account.

Here are examples of books on communication from the NetLibrary collection.
