Introduction
 

There are many tools that will help in doing research in the Social Sciences. This list contains aids mainly at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Library. The list is divided into three main topic areas: American History, World History and Political Science. In each topic area are listed guides to the literature, bibliographies, statistical sources, periodical indexes, selected periodicals, and finally Internet resources. Many of the sources listed here could be useful in all three areas, but are listed in the area that it will be the most useful.
