AirEvac personnel provide specialized training to MCC Nursing Students

AirEvac nurses and paramedics came to the SOSU McCurtain County Campus on Nov 30 and Dec 1 to teach Advanced Cardiac Life Support to EOSC students. According to Jamie Fields, EOSC Nursing Instructor, this is a certification that is not required for nursing licensure, but which is required or strongly encouraged for most nursing jobs. During the 2 day course, they landed a helicopter in the parking lot for students, staff, and faculty at SE-MCC to tour.
