TJ Construction Wins SE Golf Classic

TJ Construction shot a 54 to take first place honors Friday, May 19, at the SE Golf Classic, held at Idabel Country Club. The classic is an annual fundraiser for the Southeastern Oklahoma State University – McCurtain County Campus.

Defending champion and two-time tourney winner David’s Golf Shop finished second with a 56. Third place went to Tin Cup, with a 57.

Other teams and their scores included: Joe Hill and Friends, 59; Bolin and Company, 62; HD 94.7, 64; Lane Family Clinic, 66; Choctaw Nation Tribal Council, 66; Haworth 1st Assembly, 67; and Oakview Health Services, 68.

Closest to the Pin (David DeBerry) and Longest drive (Treg Buchanan) winners received a 1-night stay, with $40 food voucher, and concert tickets to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band or Shooter Jennings, courtesy of the Choctaw Nation Casino and Resorts at Grant.
