Weyerhaeuser Awards Grant to Upgrade SEMCC Auditorium

The SE McCurtain County Campus (SEMCC) was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from Weyerhaeuser – Idabel Lumber Mill. The grant will fund much needed upgrades to the auditorium audio and visual equipment.

“The goal is to make the auditorium end-user friendly, allow the integration of the sound booth to an accessible location, add a 16:9 format high definition screen, and a laser projector,” SEMCC Director Kendra Gross said. “These upgrades will be of great benefit to the campus and community groups who utilize the space.”

The grant money will be used for purchasing the equipment, parts, and supplies for the project.
