Southeastern to celebrate “Best of the Best” with other regional universities at April 30 event

Southeastern Oklahoma State University and the other five institutions under the Regional University System of Oklahoma Board of Regents (RUSO) are hosting a dinner to celebrate a century of excellence in higher education.

“The Best of the Best Centennial Dinner and Celebration” is scheduled for Monday, April 30 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. A reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner following at 7 p.m.

This special event will give Oklahomans the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the many significant contributions of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, East Central University, Northeastern State University, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Southwestern Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma.

Providing entertainment at the event from Southeastern will be the SOSU Dance Company, under the direction of Riley Coker. Other RUSO institutions will also provide entertainment featuring their students. In addition, a special video highlighting the RUSO institutions will be shown.
