SOSU Symphonic Choir to Hold Rehearsals

Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Symphonic Choir, under the direction of Dr. Stacy Weger, will begin the spring rehearsal schedule and season Jan. 22.

Rehearsals will be held in the Choral Rehearsal Hall, Fine Arts Building room 116.

This choir is open to singers throughout the Durant and Texoma region, including all SOSU students, staff and faculty, as well as community members. The choir will be working on popular opera choruses to be sung as part of the Oklahoma Opera Festival on April 19.

The program will include such favorites as Verdi’s Anvil Chorus, Mascagni’s Easter Hymn and Wagner’s Pilgrim Chorus.
