DURANT, Okla. -- The Southeastern Chorale, Southeastern Oklahoma State University's premiere choral ensemble, will be featured in concert Thursday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. on campus in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
The Chorale, under the direction of Stacy Weger, will present an all A cappella concert of diverse repertoire focusing on conflict and resolution.
Weger says, "The Southeastern Chorale continues to seek out meaningful avenues of expression, and to use their voices to provoke thought and dialogue about our shared humanity. The literature is challenging for the listener and performer, but well worth their investment. The Chorale continues to work towards the highest of choral standards as they look forward to their appearance at Carnegie Hall in June of 2009."
Admission to the concert is free and open to the public. For further information please contact the Music Office at 580-745-2088.
