Kyle Stafford Named Director of University Advancement

DURANT, Okla. Kyle Stafford has been selected as the new Director of University Advancement at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Since last August, Stafford has held the position of Dean of Enrollment Management & Marketing, which includes the areas of enrollment management, marketing, and the GEAR UP grant program. Prior to that, beginning in 2002, he served as Director of Admissions. Stafford joined the University staff in 1999 as an admissions counselor.
He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Southeastern.
"I believe that Kyle has the desire, dedication, and enthusiasm for this position," said Southeastern President Michael D. Turner. "In his current role as Dean of Enrollment Management and Marketing, he has developed an extensive network of contacts and cultivated many relationships within the local community, region, and state. We look forward to his many contributions in this important new capacity."
"I also want to express my appreciation to Dr. C. Henry Gold for his dedication in serving as Interim Director of University Advancement for the past two years."
In his new position, Stafford will continue to cultivate relationships in the community, while developing and coordinating strategies to advance the mission of the University.
Stafford and his wife Kim have two daughters, Miranda, 14, and Emma, 5.
"I'm looking forward to this exciting new challenge," Stafford said. "There are so many great things happening at Southeastern, including new facilities and the celebration of our centennial next year. The Centennial will provide a great opportunity for everyone to re-connect with the University and I'm excited to be involved as advancement director."
