Welcome Week 2008 set to begin August 16 at Southeastern

DURANT -- The Dean of Students Office, Residence Life Office and the Office of Student Life are set to host Welcome Week 2008 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. New student move-in will kick off Welcome Week the morning of Saturday, August 16, followed by brunch and Freshman Convocation that afternoon.

New to Welcome Week this year is SE Durant as the Durant Chamber (www.durantchamber.org) and Main Street will be welcoming Southeastern students with food, fun, entertainment and special student discounts. Other Welcome Week 2008 activities include Sundaes on Sunday, Storm Street Block Party, and Wii Got Game. Many more activities and events will be held throughout the week. Welcome Week will conclude Thursday with the Storm Watch Scrimmage at Paul Laird Field.
