Freshman Success reception held

DURANT, Okla. -- Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Office of Freshman Programs hosted the 8th annual Freshman Success Reception in the ballroom Wednesday afternoon.
The reception was for all first-time, full-time incoming freshmen who earned a 3.25 GPA or higher in the Fall 2008 semester.
Approximately 240 students, their guests, faculty and staff attended the event. Students were congratulated by Southeastern president Michael D. Turner, Student Government Association president Adam Lovell and associate dean of academic services Tim Boatmun.
Each student received a special gift for their accomplishment.
