Honors Symposium to feature Dr. Cordell Adams

DURANT, Okla. -- Southeastern Oklahoma State University's Honors Program and the 8th annual Honors Program Spring Symposium will present Dr. Cordell Adams as guest speaker Thursday, March 5, in the Student Union Auditorium, room 213.

Adams is a 1982 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is now a doctor of ophthalmology in Dallas, Texas.

He is also the author of Light Bread, his debut novel about a charming grandmother who involves herself in the personal business of every resident of Parkerville, Texas.

The Spring Symposium will be held from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. March 5. The event is sponsored by the Cultural and Scholastic Lectureship Fee Committee, the SE Honors Program, Alpha Chi, the Honors Advisory Council, and the School of Arts and Sciences.
