Southeastern reaches out to storm victims

DURANT, Okla. -- Southeastern Oklahoma State University is reaching out to the victims of the Lone Grove tornado.

Southeastern cheerleaders and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be collecting cash and Wal-Mart gift card donations during the Southeastern-Central Oklahoma basketball doubleheader Saturday.

Saturday is Athletics Hall of Fame Day at SE and a great crowd is expected at the games.

Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority will be collecting items in the Student Union from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. from now through Wednesday (Feb. 18). Everyday items are needed: bottled water, coffee, work gloves, blankets, clothing items, trash bags, cash donations, and Wal-Mart gift cards, etc.

All items and donations will be given to the Ardmore Red Cross.
