Tri-County Honors program recognizes outstanding high school seniors

Southeastern president Michael D. Turner, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Chief Gregory Pyle, and First United CEO Greg Massey enjoy a moment at the Tri-County event.
DURANT, Okla. – High school seniors from Bryan, Marshall, and Choctaw counties were honored April 28 by First United Bank and Southeastern Oklahoma State at the Tri-County Honors Program.
The event, which recognizes outstanding graduating seniors, was held in the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Southeastern campus.
Greg Massey, Chief Executive Officer of First United Bank, presided over the event. Participating in the presentation of medals and certificates of achievement were Massey, Southeastern president Michael D. Turner, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Chief Gregory Pyle, Southeastern Dean of Enrollment Management Liz McCraw, and First United bank presidents from representative communities.

Chief Pyle also delivered the keynote address, emphasizing to students and parents the theme of "never giving up."
Musical entertainment was provided by Kristen Morgan of Silo High School.
School administrators introduced the honorees from their school.
