Southeastern Chorale to host dinner/silent auction

DURANT, Okla. – The Southeastern Chorale, Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s premier choral ensemble, will again be hosting a dinner and silent auction on Saturday, October 2.

The event will be held at the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Southeastern campus.

Auction items include luxury resort stays in California, Chicago, and Washington D.C., as well as donated gift items from local businesses, restaurant packages, personal services, and home décor items. The silent auction will begin on Thursday, September 30, in Fine Arts Building room 116 and culminate Saturday evening.

The event, titled "Legends" will feature Southeastern Chorale members entertaining with the classic music of iconic performers. The fundraiser will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the VPAC with hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner beginning at 7 p.m. A dessert auction, led by Aaron Adair, will take place immediately after the meal.
