Southeastern Homecoming Celebration scheduled for Oct. 8-9

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University is gearing up for one of its biggest homecoming celebrations ever on Oct. 8-9.

The traditional “Whang Bang” Alumni Golf Tournament starts things off on Friday, Oct. 8, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at Silverado Golf Course.

At 5:30 that evening, the 2010 Distinguished Alumni and Former Faculty award recipients will be honored at a banquet in the Visual & Performing Arts Center.

Among Saturday’s many events are a Custom Car Show, traditional Homecoming parade downtown, a Legacy Day activity for high school juniors and seniors whose relatives are SE alumni, a Retired Faculty-Staff Luncheon, alumni tailgate party, homecoming football game, and post-game alumni party.
