SE Presidential Golf Classic set for June 11

DURANT, Okla. –- Southeastern Oklahoma State University's 2010 Presidential Golf Classic has been scheduled for Friday, June 11, at Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club on Lake Texoma.

The Presidential Golf Classic is the major fundraiser for the Southeastern Foundation, Inc. The 6-person scramble is limited to the first 26 teams and has become one of the more prestigious events in the state. Entry fee is $125 per player and golfers may register as teams or individuals.

The entry fee includes a registration gift, chances for Hole-in One prizes, greens fee, cart, food and drinks.

Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place teams, closest to the pin and longest drive for men and women. The winning team's names will be added to the President's Cup trophy.

The tournament features a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner during the Awards Ceremony at approximately 2-3 p.m.

There are seven levels of sponsorship available, ranging from hole sponsorship ($100) to Platinum ($3,500), which includes two teams of six players each and Platinum amenities.

Other levels are Tournament Sponsor ($500), Team Sponsor ($1,000), Bronze Sponsor ($1,500), Silver ($2,000) and Gold ($2,500). Tournament sponsorship includes one regular registration. Team sponsorship includes one team of six players. Bronze, Silver and Gold sponsorships include one team of six players and appropriate amenities.

Registration and the practice range will open at 7:30 a.m. June 11, with the continental breakfast starting at 8 a.m. A shotgun start is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. with the Awards Ceremony at 3 p.m.
