DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University professor Ming-Shan Su will present a research paper and serve as a session chair at the 6th International Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing Conference June 28-July 2 in Caen, France.

Dr. Su, Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Computer and Physical Sciences and Program Coordinator of Computer Information Systems and Computer Science, has been a SE faculty member since 2002.

The conference brings together experts from around the world for five days of workshops, presentations, symposia, panel sessions, keynote and invited speakers.

Su will serve as chair of the Performance Modeling and Analysis & Upper Layer Design session under the Mobile Computing Symposium. His research paper, "Distributed Testing and Diagnosis in a Mobile Computing Environment," will be featured, along with others, on July 1.

Daniel Phelps, a Southeastern graduate and one of the co-authors, will also attend the conference.

"By presenting a paper at the conference and interacting with researchers/professors from different institutions and universities from all over the world, it helps in promoting Southeastern’s name on an international scale," Su said. "In addition, it lets our current and future students know that their research work can be up to par for international recognition and that we have world-renowned professors teaching at Southeastern."
