DURANT, Okla. – For the fourth consecutive year, Southeastern Oklahoma State University is looking to reduce energy costs in the summer months by implementing a 10-hour, 4-day work-week, beginning June 1 and continuing through July 30.
Under the summer schedule, University employees will continue to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Public office hours will remain from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday. University offices will be closed on Fridays.
For the past several years, summer school classes have met on a Monday-Thursday schedule, and that will be the case again this year.
The traditional 5-day work-week will return on Monday, Aug. 2.
