Southeastern Live Transfer Day set for March 30

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University will welcome students from area community colleges during SE Live Transfer Day on Tuesday, March 30.
Prospective transfer students will have an opportunity to explore the campus, visit with professors, and enroll for classes for Summer and Fall 2010.
"This is a great opportunity for students to get prepared for the fall semester," said transfer coordinator Betty Acevedo. "They will interact with professors one-on-one and meet future peers."
All students attending will enjoy a free meal in the Student Union Café and will also receive a SE sackpack.
Students will have an opportunity to pre-enroll for the summer and fall semesters during Transfer Day. Students should apply for admission to Southeastern ahead of time, either in person or on line at www.se.edu/future-students.
Admission offices will also be open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. during Transfer Day. Students should bring official copies of all transcripts with them.
Following is the schedule for Transfer Day:
- 11:00 11:30 a.m. Registration and Check-In, Student Union Atrium
- 11:30 12:30 p.m. Welcome Session
- 12:30 1:30 p.m. Browse Session & Lunch in SU Cafe Student Union Atrium
- 1:30 2:00 p.m. Department Presentations & Tours
- 2:00 5:00 p.m. Advising/Enrollment Sessions with Departments (Can also visit financial aid, admissions, residence life if needed) *Students must be admitted to Southeastern in order to enroll for classes
- 1:30 4:00 p.m. Financial Aid & FAFSA Workshop & Campus Connect Tutorial (Please bring the student & parent 2009 income tax return to complete this process)
Campus and residence hall tours will be offered throughout the day.
