University offers 9/11 tribute

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University professor Dr. Daniel Weigel makes remarks Friday as the University honored the victims and survivors of 9/11. The tribute included a banner, a wall listing of the victims’ names, various video tributes, and special performances by the Southeastern Department of Music. Among those in attendance were members of the Durant Fire Department. The event, sponsored by the Southeastern Graduate counseling students and Student Government Association, was held in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union.
