SE Live rescheduled for March 9

Press Release Date: 2-17-2011

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University is pleased to announce that SE Live Open House has officially been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 9, on the Southeastern campus in Durant.

"We were extremely disappointed to have to postpone SE Live twice due to the winter weather storms and we are very excited to have the event rescheduled," said Elizabeth Stidham, Recruitment Coordinator.

High school seniors and juniors, plus their parents and families, are invited to experience life as a student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University during SE Live Open House.

Some of the highlights of the day include programs on Scholarships & Financial Aid, Southeastern Traditions, Residence Life, and Life as a Student-Athlete. Campus tours will be offered throughout the day.

In the afternoon, students will have an opportunity to visit Eaker Field, home of the Southeastern Aviation Program. Choir and Band students will get the chance to rehearse with those programs and audition for Fall music scholarships.

Several Southeastern performing groups, including the Sparks Dance Team, will provide entertainment throughout the day.

All students attending will receive an SE Sackpack and one free lunch ticket. Lunch is sponsored by First United Bank.

Students who have already registered for SE Live do not need to re-register, but do need to RSVP by contacting the Office of University Recruitment. Juniors and seniors not previously registered who are interested in attending still have the opportunity to register.
