Spanish Brass to perform Feb. 21 as part of Musical Arts Series

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Musical Arts Series will present the Spanish Brass in concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the Fine Arts Recital Hall on the Durant campus.
An eclectic and innovative chamber group, the brass quintet from Valencia, Spain, tours all over the world performing and recording.
The prize-winning ensemble consists of trumpeters Carlos Beneto and Juanjo Serna; Maria Rubio on French horn; trombonist Inda Bonet; and Sergio Finca on the tuba
The group will present music from Bach through 21st-century composers.
The Spanish Brass will also present a school program at Northwest Heights Elementary from 1-1:30 p.m. that same day.
The ensemble appears by arrangement with Lisa Sapinkopf Artists, www.chambermuse.com and acknowledges the support of the Institut Valencia de la Musica.
