Presidential Golf Classic scheduled for June 8 at Chickasaw Pointe

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s prestigious Presidential Golf Classic is scheduled for Friday, June 8, at beautiful Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club.

The 6-player scramble draws golfers from all across Oklahoma and neighboring states. This is the annual major fundraiser to support the Southeastern Foundation, Inc. and Southeastern.

The 15th annual Classic will feature an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with registration and the practice range opening at 7:30.

A continental breakfast will be available at 8 a.m. and the awards ceremony will be held immediately following play.

The Classic can handle 144 players or 24 six-person teams. There are 18 teams registered with several teams ready to sign on the dotted line.

Golfers without a team are welcome to sign up and be assigned to a group.

Registration fee is $125 per golfer and includes a registration gift, greens fee, cart, food and drinks, breakfast, lunch and a catered dinner during the Awards Ceremony at approximately 2-3 p.m.

Larry Dyson Motors of Durant will award a GMC vehicle for the first hole-in-one. There are prizes for first-, second- and third-place teams and contests for Closest-to-the Pin and Longest Drive for both men and women.

The winning team members’ names will be added to the President’s Cup trophy.

Various sponsorship levels are available, call the Platinum level going for $3,500, including two teams of six players and Platinum amenities.
