Southeastern closed on Memorial Day

Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed on Monday,
May 27, in observance of Memorial Day.

All offices will
re-open on Tuesday, May 28.

Southeastern begins four-day work week May 30

DURANT, Okla. – As has been the case in recent years, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be on a four-day work week during the summer, beginning Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day holiday), and concluding on Friday, July 29.

Offices will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Offices will be closed on Friday.

All full-time staff members are required to work 40 hours per week or use the necessary amount of leave to meet the 40-hour per week requirement.

Four-day work week begins June 2

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University is once again looking to reduce energy costs in the summer months by implementing a 10-hour, four-day work week beginning Monday, June 2, and continuing through Friday, July 25.

In addition, the University will be closed May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.

This is the eighth consecutive year that the University has implemented this schedule.

Under the summer schedule, University employees will continue to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Public office hours will remain from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday. University offices will be closed on Fridays except for those which are required for 24/7 operations.

Four-day workweek begins June 3

In addition, the University will be closed Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.

This is the seventh consecutive year that the University has implemented this schedule.

Under the summer schedule, University employees will continue to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Public office hours will remain from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday. University offices will be closed on Fridays, except for those which are required for 24/7 operations.

Under the summer schedule, University employees will continue to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Public office hours will remain from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday. University offices will be closed on Fridays.

For the past several years, summer school classes have met on a Monday-Thursday schedule, and that will be the case again this year.

The traditional five-day workweek will return on Monday, July 30.
