Transfer Enrollment Day scheduled for Oct. 7

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University has scheduled SE Live! Transfer Enrollment Day for Friday, Oct. 7.

Prospective students transferring to Southeastern for the spring semester should reserve their spot now for a “one-stop” admissions and enrollment day.

Students currently enrolled in a higher education program and those with an Associate’s degree are invited to the Durant campus for a day of activities.

Recruitment Coordinator Elizabeth Stidham said, “Southeastern wants students transferring into our University to quickly feel a part of the Southeastern community. Transfer Day is an opportunity to learn about Southeastern traditions and enjoy campus while gearing up for the spring semester.”

Prospective students will prepare for the spring semester with “on-the-spot” admissions, advising and enrollment sessions, campus tours and a free lunch. Students will have the opportunity to attend a Southeastern class as well as workshops on Student and Residence Life.

Check-in is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Office of Admissions on the first floor of the Administration building. Advising/Enrollment sessions with academic departments will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with visits to financial aid, admissions and residence life if needed.

Optional programs include a Campus Connect Tutorial at 10 a.m. in the Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library and lunch in café of the Glen D. Johnson Student Union from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Making the Connection: Student and Residence Life at Southeastern is set for 1 p.m. in Room 303 in the student union.

Residence Hall sign-up is scheduled for 1 -4 p.m. in the Residence Life office on the third floor of the student union.

A second Campus Connect Tutorial will be held in the library at 3 p.m.

Campus and Residence Hall tours will leave from the Admissions Office in the Administration building at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. and noon, 1, 2, and 3 p.m.

Students may attend classes at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. and at 1 p.m.

Students wishing to be admitted during Transfer Day should bring their official high school transcript, transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, current semester class enrollment and application fees of $20 for U.S. students or $55 for international students.
