DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University held two Fall Commencement ceremonies Saturday in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

Lobbyist/consultant Lesa Smaligo, a 1990 Southeastern graduate, was the commencement speaker.

The graduating class included students from 29 states and 12 countries. In addition, 51 percent of the students were first-generation college graduates.

Southeastern president Sean Burrage offered welcoming remarks, as did Regent Amy Anne Ford of the Regional University System of Oklahoma Board of Regents.
