DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University will host the 2014 Welcome Week with six days of activities scheduled to greet students.
Michelle Hornbeak, Interim Student Activities Coordinator, said: “I am always excited about Welcome Week. When I was a freshman I remember making new friends, discovering new things about the campus and the cool giveaways.
“This year I have been able to plan and promote the events and I am looking forward to seeing students attend each one.”
Fall classes begin on Monday, Aug. 18.

Saturday, August 16
- 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Residence Hall check-in, Glen D. Johnson Student Union (SU)
- 4:30 p.m. – Freshman Convocation, Montgomery Auditorium
- 5:00 p.m. – Convocation Cook-Out, front lawn
- 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Residence Hall check-in, continued
Sunday, August 17
- 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Residence Hall Orientation, SU Gym

Monday, August 18
