Weyerhaeuser gift assists learning center at McCurtain campus

DURANT, Okla. – Thanks to a generous grant from the “Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund,” the dream of a campus learning center will soon become a reality at the McCurtain County campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Presenting a check for $9,149 is Keith O’Rear, second from right, unit manager of Weyerhaeuser, Idabel Saw Mill. Accepting the gift are Bruce King, dean of the McCurtain County campus, Southeastern president Larry Minks, and Southeastern executive director of university advancement Kyle Stafford. The grant will equip the new learning center.
