Occupational Safety and Health receives donation of air sampling pumps and batteries
The Department of Occupational Safety and Health recently received 19 air sampling pumps, model HFS 513A and 32 spare batteries from Sid A. Edgar, CSP Senior Manager, Environment, Health & Safety AT&T Services, Inc. It is estimated that the value of the donated materials is approximately $20,000.
This gift is particularly timely as pumps currently used in the Industrial Hygiene laboratories had reached the end of their service life and were in need of replacement. Generous gifts like this from the safety community and our alumni enhance our ability to enrich the students learning experience in the field of Occupational Safety and Health. Our heartfelt thanks go to not only Sid Edgar and AT&T Services Inc. for their contribution but to others who, in the past, have supported the program here at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
