Fall 2011 Commencement

The following is information regarding participation in the Fall 2011 Commencement Ceremony.

Rehearsal

Commencement Rehearsal will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Rehearsal will be held in the Bloomer Sullivan Arena/Convocation Center.

Ceremony

One commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bloomer Sullivan Arena/Convocation Center. The commencement speaker will be Mr. Rodney Bivens.

Reception

A reception honoring graduates and their families will be held in the Visual and Performing Arts Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Special Accommodations

If you or a family member requires special accommodations due to a disability, please contact the Office for Student Affairs at 580-745-2368. Advance notice is required for some accommodations such as sign language interpreters.

Graduation Regalia and Supplies

You may contact the Campus Book Store regarding the purchase of graduation announcements, name cards, cap and gown and other graduation items. For more information, call 580-745-2960.

Transcripts and Diplomas

Degrees are only conferred when all requirements for graduation are complete regardless of participation in the Commencement Ceremony. Transcripts with degrees will be available approximately one week after the end of the semester. Diplomas will be mailed to your permanent address approximately eight (8) weeks after the end of the semester. Changes in your permanent address may be submitted in the Registrar's Office or via Campus Connect. Transcripts and diplomas will not be released if you have a hold on your records (ex: financial, transcript, etc).
