Your interest shown by this visit to the website is important to us. You may be assured that the Office of Academic Affairs will either offer direct service to you or refer you to another, more appropriate source of assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Southeastern is a regional university located in Durant, Oklahoma. We are a Master\u2019s level degree-granting institution. Major academic schools include the\u00a0School of Arts and Sciences, the\u00a0John Massey School of Business, the\u00a0School of Education and Behavioral Sciences, and the\u00a0School of Graduate and University Studies. All academic programs at Southeastern are fully accredited by appropriate national and\/or other organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Students at Southeastern find an environment that emphasizes excellence in all educational programs. Student learning is highly valued at Southeastern. This is exhibited through teaching, scholarship, and service. What makes Southeastern special is it is a university that cares deeply about the individual student.<\/p>\n<p>You are invited to inquire about current and recent academic developments that are greatly enhancing the university. If you are not already here, I sincerely hope you will want to join us soon.<\/p>\n<h3>About the Vice President for Academic Affairs<\/h3>\n<p>The Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of the University. Reporting to the President, the VPAA has overall responsibility for the institution\u2019s education programs.
