Dear Parent\/Guardian<\/strong>,<\/h3>\n

Southeastern Oklahoma State University is proud to present another Aviation Camp for Summer 2025<\/em><\/strong>, and we want to invite your child to attend this camp! *Please read the information below, very carefully<\/u><\/em>.<\/p>\n

This year we offer an aviation camp that is filled with fun, hands-on activities designed to encourage your child\u2019s interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).\u00a0 Activities will include classroom, age-appropriate lectures & experiments, related homework assignments, possible time in an actual flight-simulator, a field trip, flight on an actual SE aircraft (weather and other factors permitting) and more.<\/p>\n

Camp Dates are June 1 – June 6, 2025.<\/strong> The last day of the camp lands on a Friday and parents\/guardians are invited to join us for activities and a noon picnic on this last day.<\/p>\n

Participants will stay on the SE main campus, Durant, OK to get a small taste of dorm life. Your child\u2019s health and safety is our number one priority. All campers must follow SE Campus rules.\u00a0 Tobacco products including vapes are strictly prohibited on campus.\u00a0 Our instructors and camp counselors will supervise participants during the day and counselors will also monitor the dorms at night.<\/p>\n

While we have a Nurse\u2019s Office on-site, we ask that each child attending the camp be responsible for his\/her own medication. Please make sure any medication sent with the child to the camp, is clearly\/plainly labeled, including dosage and the child has been provided explicit instructions for taking the medication. Please provide written details of any medical condition, of which you want us to be aware, including diabetes, severe allergies to food or other related issues. Attach this written information to the Medical Release form.<\/p>\n

Please complete the Student Application Form.<\/p>\n

Also, please make sure the phone number you give us on the application is a working number, in case of an emergency and check your email often for any announcements we may share. Email is our main form of communication, especially during the application process. Make sure we have YOUR email and not your child\u2019s email.<\/em><\/p>\n

*Incomplete applications by due dates (or missing information on a form) will NOT be considered for selection.
