Biography
Originally from Missoula, Montana, Jennifer Lodine-Chaffey received her Ph.D. in Early Modern English Literature from Washington State University (WSU) in 2017. Following the completion of her doctorate, she taught literature, composition, and technical writing for three years at WSU Tri-Cities. She has published articles focused on early modern engagements with death and mourning, including pieces on Webster’s The Duchess of Malfi, Marlowe’s Tamburlaine, and Milton’s Samson Agonistes. Recently, she completed a book manuscript that explores representations of female executions during the early modern period.
