The Council promotes the timely exchange of information regarding current and pending University activities and provides a venue for discussion of issues of broad institutional interest. The Council\u2019s charge includes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Facilitate communication and collaboration among administrative units and divisions of the University.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular opportunities for the exchange of information related to ongoing and emerging University initiatives, operations, and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a forum for discussion of issues affecting multiple divisions or the University community as a whole.<\/li>\n<li>Advise the President on matters of broad administrative and institutional interest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Council acts in an advisory capacity only and does not exercise decision-making authority. Generally, the AC will generally meet quarterly: January\/February, April\/May, July\/August, October\/November, The President or designee convenes and chairs the Council and may invite additional participants as needed based on agenda topics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Membership on the University Administrative Council is <strong>by presidential appointment<\/strong> and consists of administrative leaders representing key operational, academic support, and governance functions of the University.
