Individuals will only be responsible for steps. Teams will have steps, weight loss percentages, exercise, and weekly challenges that they will receive points for. Individuals will be able to participate in the challenges. There will be a participation gift for everyone at the end of the challenge. At the end of the challenge, we will give prizes for the top three teams in points. We will also give a prize for the team with the most steps and a prize to the team with the highest weight loss percentage. There will be random drawings for individuals and team members who complete the weekly challenges. We are going to be focusing on good health habits and exercise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Commit To Get Fit Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Team Captains and will report weight loss percentages, challenge participation, days of exercise, and total steps from each week by 5pm on Mondays to <a href=\"mailto:jballew@se.edu\">jballew@se.edu<\/a>. The total will be Monday thru Sunday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individuals will report steps and challenge participation each week on Mondays to <a href=\"mailto:jballew@se.edu\">jballew@se.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Results will be sent out via email on Tuesdays so the participants can monitor their team\u2019s or an individual\u2019s placement in the competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The point system for this challenge will be:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Teams-<\/strong> 30 minutes of exercise for 4 days a week-4 points<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3 days or less = no points, must have 4 days to receive points<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Each additional day with 30 minutes of exercise will be worth 1 point for<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 each day. You can receive a maximum of 7 points for exercise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintained weight is worth 1 point.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Any weight loss is worth 3 points.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The top 3 in weight loss % each week will receive bonus points-<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1<sup>st<\/sup> place- 3 points<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place- 2 points<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place- 1 point<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a team reaches 20,000 steps in a day, they get 1 point for that day. If<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">they reach 140,000 steps in a week; the team will receive an extra 2 points.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The top three in steps each week will receive bonus points-<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1<sup>st<\/sup> place- 3 points<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<sup>nd<\/sup> place-2 points<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1<sup>st<\/sup> place- 1 point<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the team completes the challenge, they receive 4 points for the week. All weekly challenge participants names will be put in a hat for random drawings. I will send out your weekly challenge every Friday for the next week. If it is a weeklong challenge, we will start on the following Monday. If it is just for a day, I will send specific instructions.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Individuals-<\/strong> You will turn in your steps each Monday by 5pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will be able to participate in the weekly challenges for random prizes. If you complete the challenge, your name will be added to the drawing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All participants will need to weigh on the same scales every week for consistency. Scales are located in the Office of the President, Student Wellness Services, or the Wellness Center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can go to Southeastern Oklahoma State University website, all the forms you will need for the challenge are on the Commit To Get Fit page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Good luck!!
