BENTONVILLE, Ark. – For the third-straight season No. 45 Southeastern women's tennis leaves Bentonville, Ark., as the Great American Conference Champions after downing No. 15 Southern Arkansas 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The win secures the Savage Storm an automatic bid into the NCAA Central Regional and lifts them to 18-7 on the year.

SE opened play by picking up the doubles point beginning with
Amishi Shukla and
Milana Voloshyn cruising to a 6-1 win at number three doubles over SAU's Inna Serpukhova and Roksana Kokocha.

The Storm secured the doubles point when
Jou Chen Chen and
Larissa Giraldi Correa paired up to pick up a 7-5 win over Amelie Gindl and Josie Holderbach at the number two position, taking a 1-0 lead in the match.

Chen would carry that momentum into singles play, pushing the SE lead to 2-0 with a 6-4, 6-4 win at number six singles over Kokocha.

Correa followed serve in the three position to take a 3-0 lead, downing Gindl at the number three position by a 6-4, 6-3 score.

Voloshyn would clinch the match at the number four position when she downed Lisa Loechter by a 6-4, 7-5 score, making the final tally 4-0 in the match.

The top-seeded Savage Storm opened its GAC tournament run on Friday with a 4-2 win over Harding in the semifinals to advance to Saturday's championship final.
